Paper Daisy

30 Mar, 2025

Spring into a world of creativity and heritage this May and join Paper Daisy at the iconic British Engineerium in Hove for a truly special experience!

The grand Spring Makers Fair, one of the biggest and most exciting events of its kind locally, is offering visitors the chance to discover over 100 talented exhibitors each day.

Set inside the former Coal Shed Exhibition Hall and now, new for Spring, expanded outside to create a marketplace for 35 exhibitors. The Engineerium allows a unique opportunity to explore creativity against an impressive industrial heritage Grade II listed backdrop.

It will be full of beautifully crafted homewares, original art and illustrations, ceramics, woodwork, metal smithing, unique fashion pieces & handcrafted accessories – many inspired by the local area – plus plenty of speciality small-batch food, drinks and wellbeing health & beauty products. A diverse range of items from designers, makers & crafts people that are experts in their field with a mix of traditional and modern techniques.

One of the standout features of a makers fair is the opportunity to meet and interact with the makers themselves, offering a personal connection that you won’t find in your typical shopping experience.

Alongside the fair, The British Engineerium Museum will be in steam and pre-bookable tours will be available across the weekend, allowing you to discover the history and workings of the Victorian Pumping Station that once supplied much of Brighton & Hove with water.

If you’ve never been to a makers’ fair, Paper Daisy will completely transform any old-fashioned notions you might have. Paper Daisy’s expertise and experience create vibrant, buzzing events that are carefully curated down to the smallest detail. You’ll leave inspired and counting the days until the next one!

Some fine food from local pop ups, speciality coffees & bar provided by local Orange Beach Bars, and live afternoon entertainment from local musicians will also be on offer.

Entrance is free to The Spring Fair, but optional limited queue jump tickets are available from £1.50. Paper Daisy holds a variety of events throughout the year, all offering something different. They’ll be in Brighton, Saltdean & Shoreham this April. Head to their website to find out more. www.paperdaisyevents.co.uk
