Pour Choices Wine Fair 12th April 2025

30 Mar, 2025

Brighton’s first and only natural wine fair celebrates sustainable and low-intervention winemaking, spotlighting passionate producers from across the UK. A unique opportunity to taste exceptional wines, meet winemakers, and delve into the world of natural wine.

Join them at Wagner Hall and support their mission to demystify natural wine, providing a fun and welcoming space for people to learn, taste and ask questions. We aim to highlight the deep-rooted connection between low-intervention wine and sustainable agriculture in the UK, showcasing how mindful farming practices enrich the land and impact the wine

What is natural wine?

Natural wine is a type of wine that is made with minimal intervention in the vineyard and winery. It typically involves organic or biodynamic farming practices, meaning that no synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilisers are used. In the winemaking process, natural wines are fermented with wild yeasts instead of commercial yeast strains, and they often undergo little to no filtration or fining. This results in a wine that is more expressive of its terroir, or the specific environment in which the grapes are grown.

Natural wines can vary widely in flavour, aroma, and appearance, and they may have a more cloudy appearance compared to conventional wines due to the lack of filtration. They are often celebrated for their unique characteristics and are popular among those who seek authentic and artisanal products. However, the term “natural wine” is not officially regulated, so the definition can vary among producers and consumers.

The Natural Wine Fair will give you the opportunity to experience wine tastings, workshops, local food and music from 1pm – 7pm. The perfect day out for wine lovers and wine curious
