Brighton’s vibrant creative scene comes alive this June at the HomeWerks Open Studios, a two-day celebration of art, design, and community at 73 Holland Road, in the heart of Hove. Hosted in the HomeWerks building—managed by The Werks Group—this event offers the public a rare opportunity to explore the workspaces of local artists and makers, meet the talent behind the craft, and discover one-of-a-kind pieces.

FREE ENTRY. Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re an art enthusiast, a curious neighbour, or just passing by, come in and experience the buzz of creativity in the HomeWerks studios.

 

Join Us for the Launch Party – Friday 6th June, 6 PM till 8:30 PM

Kick things off with an evening of drinks and celebration as we open our doors and raise a glass to Brighton’s thriving creative community. Mingle with artists, explore their studios, and get a first look at the incredible work on show.

 

Main Studio Day – Saturday 7th June, 12 PM to 5 PM

On Saturday, the studios will be buzzing with activity as artists and makers showcase and sell their work. From jewellery, accessories and lingerie to oil paintings, textiles, and sustainable fashion, there’s something for every taste and interest. Expect a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with a touch of Brighton’s unique flair.

 

Meet the Makers

The event will feature work by:

Ayten Gasson Lingerie – Sustainable lingerie and nightwear, beautifully handcrafted in their HomeWerks studio

Bella Vicente – Launching her sculptural, deconstructed accessories label, Machine

Clare O’Leary – Lewes-based textile artist using natural dyes

Danny Lyon – Oil painter with original works available for sale

Emma Stanton – Established Brighton-based handmade jewellery designer

Flamingo Rodeo – Colourful upcycled embroidered shirts crafted in her HomeWerks studio

Odd Janko – A melange of eccentric, classy, and strange – eco-conscious apparel designer creating enchanting designs for disenchanted people

Things From Hear – Crochet artworks and accessories, plus workshops based in the building and beyond
