Family Ents present Bad Manners + Splodgenessabounds + guests

Family Ents presents the return of Bad Manners to Brighton for their annual Christmas outing! In 1979, Bad Manners formed as a nine-piece ska band whilst at school in Manor House North London and were at the forefront of the 80s Ska Revival movement..

They had 12 singles on the UK Chart including Ne-Ne Na-Na Na-Na Nu-NuLip Up FattySpecial BrewMy Girl Lollipop and Can Can. and were 111 weeks in the UK Singles Chart.

By the mid-80s, the ska craze had waned and the band retired temporarily, only to return in 1989 with Return Of The Ugly, they’ve been touring and delighting audiences ever since.

Splodgenessabounds is a British punk rock band, associated with the Oi! and Punk Pathetique genres. Their frontman is Max Splodge. The band is best known for their 1980 track, “Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps”, coining a phrase that lent its name to a BBC sitcom. Peculiarly, the song was the B side of a single. The less-popular A side was “Simon Templar”, a souped-up version of the theme tune of the ITV TV series, The Saint.
