Salter Cane + The Equatorial Group + Skyscrapers
Formed in the early 2000s, Salter Cane established themselves as an unmissable live act, opening for The Black Keys, My Morning Jacket, Giant Sand, and more, while also releasing two classic albums; their eponymous debut in 2007, and Sorrow in 2010. Now, with the release of their third album, Deep Black Water, Salter Cane are returning with menacing songs from the depths of the subconscious.
“A dark and thrilling mix of Johnny Cash, Nick Cave, Sixteen Horsepower and Joy Division. Bloody marvellous!” —Totally Radio
“The kind of haunting slide guitar sounds and vocals that penetrate the mean and soulful receptors of the brain.” —BBC
THE EQUATORIAL GROUP
Hailing from the sleepy seaside town of Eastbourne on England’s Sussex coast, The Equatorial Group is formed of five friends from various and differing musical backgrounds. By navigating and taming this musical tug-of-war, they have created four records, in which some listeners hear the shadows of Neil Young or the colours of Fleetwood Mac.
SKYSCRAPERS
Melodic slowcore, weaving delicate songs with lush soundscapes. All-original melodic indie rock music from Lewes.
