Brighton Pride Street Party 2026
Every August, Brighton transforms into one giant open-air celebration and nowhere captures the energy of Pride weekend quite like the legendary Pride Street Party. Returning for 2026 across Marine Parade and New Steine Gardens, this year’s event promises two days of live music, drag, dancing and queer joy as thousands descend on the city’s seafront for one of the UK’s biggest LGBTQ+ street celebrations.
Running alongside the wider Brighton and Hove Pride festivities, the Street Party has become an essential part of the weekend experience, bringing together local LGBTQ+ venues, performers, DJs and community groups in one vibrant waterfront celebration. Expect daytime clubbing, pop-up bars, drag stages and packed dancefloors stretching across Kemptown as the city parties from afternoon into the early hours.
This year’s line-up is one of the strongest yet, with appearances from Bimini, Gok Wan, Baga Chipz, Bailey J Mills and Pixie Polite alongside a huge mix of DJs, cabaret performers and Brighton favourites. Club brands including Revenge, Charles Street, The Birdcage, Patterns and Legends are all helping shape the weekend’s soundtrack, while themed stages promise everything from camp pop classics and Ibiza-style terrace vibes to high-energy queer club nights.
More than just a party, the Street Party remains rooted in community spirit and visibility, creating welcoming spaces for LGBTQ+ people and allies to celebrate together in the heart of Brighton. Across the weekend the city becomes a sea of rainbow flags, glitter, music and celebration, with bars, restaurants and businesses all embracing the Pride atmosphere.
Anticipation is already building across the city ahead of the August celebrations, with venues preparing special events, themed parties and extended entertainment throughout Pride weekend. Hotels, bars and restaurants are expected to be packed as visitors travel from across the UK and beyond to experience Brighton’s famous Pride atmosphere.
With Brighton and Hove Pride celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2026, the Street Party is set to be bigger than ever, bringing together iconic performances, world-class DJs and thousands of people for a weekend of celebration, visibility and community spirit. From glitter-covered dancefloors to unforgettable moments along the seafront, Pride weekend once again promises the unique energy and inclusivity that Brighton is known for.
