FACESOUL at The Old Market

FACESOUL at The Old Market

FACESOUL brings a soul-stirring live experience to The Old Market.

If you’re craving an evening that goes beyond live music, make a date for Thu 3 Sep, when London-based artist FACESOUL takes to the stage at The Old Market in Hove for a performance that’s set to calm the mind and lift the spirit.

Born in East Africa, singer, poet and storyteller Faisal Salah, better known as FACESOUL, has built a loyal following through his deeply personal songwriting and captivating live performances. Blending soulful vocals with spoken word and storytelling, his music explores themes of grief, healing, love, identity and human connection, creating an experience that is as emotionally moving as it is musically beautiful.

Having travelled the world from a young age, performing for communities across different cultures, FACESOUL discovered that despite our differences, we all share the same emotions. That belief sits at the heart of his work, with every performance encouraging audiences to slow down, reflect and reconnect with themselves and those around them.

FACESOUL The Old Market

His latest project, inspired by the loss of a close friend, transforms personal grief into something profoundly uplifting, celebrating vulnerability and reminding us of the healing power of music.

The performance forms part of Feel Good, The Old Market’s brand-new festival celebrating the positive impact of live arts on wellbeing. Bringing together immersive music, storytelling and sensory experiences, the festival has been designed to create moments of calm, connection and joy, making FACESOUL the perfect artist to headline one of its opening nights.

Known for championing exciting and thought-provoking artists, The Old Market provides the ideal setting for FACESOUL’s intimate performance. Expect an evening where soulful melodies, heartfelt lyrics and honest storytelling come together in a space designed for genuine connection rather than spectacle. Whether you’re already familiar with his music or discovering him for the first time, this promises to be one of those rare gigs that stays with you long after the final note has faded. If you love music with meaning and performances that speak to the soul, FACESOUL is an artist not to miss.

FACESOUL performs at The Old Market, Hove, on Thu 3 Sep, with doors opening at 6.45pm and the performance beginning at 7.30pm. Tickets are available now, but with growing interest around the Feel Good festival, early booking is highly recommended.
