Designer and Maker Fair: Explore a handpicked group of independent designers and makers offering sustainably made goods. From presents and stocking fillers to homewares, textiles and clothing, you’ll find plenty to take home. The Designer and Maker Fair runs over two days in the Hay Barn at Charleston in Firle, with more than 30 artists, ceramicists and makers on site to share their work and ideas. Throughout the weekend there will be festive wreath-making workshops and you can make the most of your visit by pre-booking timed entry to Charleston House and the new autumn exhibitions. Charleston’s shop will also be open, with Bloomsbury-inspired homewares, books, cards, ceramics and a curated display of artworks and furniture and the café will be serving festive treats all weekend, including mince pies, mulled wine, hot drinks and more.
