The Prodigy

1 Nov, 2023

20/11

Formed in Essex in 1990 by producer, keyboardist and songwriter Liam Howlett, The Prodigy were instrumental in bringing the underground rave scene into the mainstream. Their debut single, Charly, reached No.3 in the UK and their second album, Music for The Jilted Generation, hit the top spot in the album charts, but it was their third album, The Fat of the Land, that took the band into the stratosphere. The album topped the charts in multiple countries and their hit single Firestarter turned them into a household name. In 2019 the tragic death of dancer and vocalist Keith Flint put the future of the band in doubt but they returned in 2022. The Army of the Ants Tour will see Howlett and frontman Maxim pay tribute to their sorely missed brother by rocking venues across the globe as only they know how. Support comes from former Slaves, Soft Play.
