This UK afro supergroup combines Gambian kora, Congolese guitar and Mandinka percussion styles with house, garage, disco, soul and jungle to create a unique sound that will keep your feet moving all night. Based in London, the members are assembled from exceptional musicians that originate from Africa, the Caribbean and the UK. They were formed in 2011 when promoter and percussionist Andre Marmot began arranging recording sessions with Nico Bentley for various musicians with the idea of bringing them together for a collaborative project. The sessions were so good that they invited more musicians to make guest appearances including mbira player Otto Gumaelius from Botswana, Senegalese guembri player Nuru Kane and Jamaican/British vocalist Serocee. The touring line-up features Jally Kebbo Susso on kora, Fiston Lusambo from DR Congo on guitar and Kudaushe Matimba from Zimbabwe on marimba. A truly international act that entertain and enthral wherever they play.
