#andysmanclub | DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole partners with men’s mental health charity

Every Monday evening, a quiet but powerful movement takes place inside the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole as local men come together to talk, listen and support one another through ANDYSMANCLUB Brighton.

Running weekly from 19:00–21:00 (excluding bank holidays), the free peer-to-peer support group offers men aged 18 and over a safe, welcoming environment where conversations around mental health are encouraged without judgement or pressure.

Hosted at the iconic DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole, the sessions are designed to help break the stigma surrounding men’s mental health while creating a sense of community and connection.

Unlike formal counselling or clinical settings, ANDYSMANCLUB provides a relaxed atmosphere where attendees can simply grab a brew, enjoy a biscuit and speak openly about whatever may be on their mind.

Whether someone is struggling with anxiety, stress, loneliness, grief or simply feeling overwhelmed by everyday life, the group offers a space to be heard and supported by others who understand.

Importantly, there is absolutely no expectation to speak. Newcomers are welcome to sit quietly, listen and take things at their own pace until they feel comfortable enough to share. The sessions are facilitated by men who have used the service themselves, creating a genuine peer-to-peer experience built on empathy and understanding rather than hierarchy or professional labels.

As conversations around mental health continue to grow, organisations such as ANDYSMANCLUB are playing an increasingly important role in helping men realise they are not alone. The Brighton group has become a valuable weekly support network for many local residents, offering connection, compassion and a reminder that opening up can be a strength rather than a weakness.

The group is completely free to attend, with no registration or booking required – participants can simply turn up on the night. For more information, details on additional UK locations or access to online groups, visit the official ANDYSMANCLUB website.
