Cocktail Happy Hours in Brighton & Hove

30 May, 2025

Brighton is bursting with stylish cocktail bars, and happy hour is not only good for the soul, but also your pocket. If you’re looking to enjoy top-notch drinks in prime locations, here are some standout venues offering excellent cocktail experiences, each with their own unique vibe.

Hotel du Vin Brighton, tucked just off the seafront, offers an elegant and relaxed setting for after-work drinks or a leisurely start to your evening. Its ‘Happy Days’ promotion runs from Monday to Friday, 3–7pm. Highlights include champagne cocktails and glasses of bubbly for just £8.

Just a short stroll away is The Grand Brighton, home to the sophisticated Victoria Bar & Lounge. While there isn’t a fixed happy hour, the bar is known for its seasonal cocktail menus, classic serves and plush surroundings. It’s a great spot for a refined pre-dinner drink or a stylish catch-up, especially if you’re in the mood for timeless glamour and sea views.

One of the city’s top spots is Twisted Lemon, a tucked-away gem just off Middle Street. Its daily happy hour (usually 5–9pm) features two-for-one cocktails and an inventive menu with everything from classics to quirky house specials. The intimate, colourful setting makes it a local favourite.

Be At One, on Castle Square, is a lively, high-energy bar offering a fun atmosphere and an extensive cocktail list. Its happy hour changes depending on the day, but typically runs late into the evening, with app-exclusive deals and friendly bartenders who love to
show off their skills.

For a more laid-back vibe, The Mesmerist on Prince Albert Street is a vintage-inspired venue with a great outdoor terrace. Its happy hour usually features two-for-one deals and seasonal cocktail specials, plus live DJs and retro decor for extra charm.

If you’re near the seafront, Patterns is a top pick. Its cocktail deals often run until 8pm and pair well with the sea view from the sunny terrace. Wherever you go, Brighton’s cocktail happy hours combine flavour, flair, and a splash of seaside magic. Download the PUBBL app for deals galore.
