Nestled in the heart of Brighton, Crown’s is more than just a place to grab a drink—it’s a community hub reminiscent of the beloved sitcom ‘Cheers’. Just like the iconic Boston bar where “everybody knows your name,” Crown’s offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere that draws in locals and visitors alike.

I myself enjoy a pit stop and love sitting outside here after a days shopping or working in the city; it’s a great vibe and is good for people watching and chatting to strangers who have at times become friends!

Crown’s is a melting pot of different ages and all walks of life. It’s a place where you can unwind after a long day of shopping at Churchill Square, which is conveniently located next door. Whether you’re tired, bored, or just in need of a pick-me-up, the venue is the perfect spot to relax.

Crown’s has a quite unique policy for Brighton of allowing customers to bring their own food. If you prefer, you can also take advantage of the discounts offered at the nearby food vans around Churchill Square, Gyros and a pint – Yes please! And if you’re a dog lover, you’ll be pleased to know that the pub is as dog friendly as they come, welcoming your furry friends with open arms.

Another of the standout features of Crown’s is its dedication to live music. From Wednesday to Sunday, the pub comes alive with performances that stretch late into the evening. Whether you’re a fan of rock, jazz, or indie, there’s always something to enjoy.

The pub’s commitment to showcasing local talent is evident in its open mic nights on Mondays and “Discover New Music” nights on Wednesdays, where emerging Brighton musicians take the stage.

For those who enjoy late-night outings, Crown’s is open until 2am during the week and 3am on weekends. It’s the ideal spot for a late-night party, offering a lively atmosphere that keeps the energy going well into the early hours.

A huge shout out to the Crown’s management and team in its commitment to giving back to its community. They offer discounts for students, local workers, NHS staff, and the Forces. Additionally, Discover magazine readers can enjoy exclusive discounts, making it clear that Crown’s values and supports its customers right back!
