Death Salon Returns to Fabrica
Death Salon Returns to Fabrica: Artists Share How Creativity Shapes Life, Death, and Grief
Death Salon returns to Fabrica for an evening of creative conversation, reflection, and shared listening. Inspired by the 18th-century salon tradition, this curated event brings together artists and writers whose work engages openly with mortality, grief, and remembrance. Through visual presentations, they will show how their creative practice can provide meaningful ways to explore loss, make sense of difficult experiences, and connect with others.
This edition of Death Salon features visual presentations by:
Susan Thomson – writer, filmmaker, and visual artist
Carrie Stanley – artist and mentor
Zara Slattery – comic artist and illustrator
Each artist will share how their creative projects have shaped their personal relationship to death, grief, and living.
Death Salon is produced and curated by Luna Arts – Wendy Pye lunaarts.org.uk and hosted by celebrant and podcast host Jess May brighton-funerals.com
