As you stitch\, we’ll talk about how making something by hand can give us space to think through how we feel about an idea\, an image or a story. \nWhat will you learn?\nThis is an introduction to a range of hand embroidery techniques. Together\, we’ll explore:\n– Backstitch\n– Running stitch\n– Split stitch\n– Satin stitch\n– Fly stitch — time permitting\nAlong the way\, I’ll share some of my own tips and tricks\, including threading\, stretching your fabric and how I back my finished work.\nThis is very much how I do it rather than a claim that it’s the only or “best” way!
