Spooky season is upon us and as ever there’s so much to do in the city to celebrate Halloween. We have scoured the interweb to find you the very best parties and activities with something for the whole family 

Pumpkin Picking Patch Preston Manor18th – 31st Oct. Preston Manor, reputed to be the most haunted house in Sussex, is hosting PYO Pumpkins and Pumpkin Market with pumpkin carving, spooky Halloween Murder Mystery Trail and Witch Crafts for you to make and take. Come and join us for some marshmallow toasting, alongside some spooktacular photo opportunities with over 20 varieties of pumpkins for you to pick, from the Polar Bear to the Goosebump and even the cute Casparita and Munchkins. Shocktober at Tulleys Farm Turners Hill Road4th Oct – 2nd Nov. Europe’s largest scream park returns for more scary fun this month. Expect Halloween interactive characters, terrifying fairground rides, and more. Will you end up in Purgatory, Carnevil Cabaret, The Coven of 13 or the Creepy Cottage? Ghost Walk of the Lanes – These nightly ghost walking tours take place every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and all must assemble outside the Druids Head in Brighton at 19.30 to take part in this spooky tour of haunted venues! Pay on arrival. www.ghostwalkbrighton.co.uk

The Ladies Mile 31st Oct – Hosted in the function room, bring your kids along after school from 3.30pm for karaoke, spooky themed mocktails, apple bobbing and much more. The team at the Mile will guarantee an afternoon of fun and will all be in fancy dress! 

Tiki Hut 2nd Nov – Fancy dress at the ready, this is going to be a Halloween party to remember! DJ Tan Ward and guests will be spinning the very best in upbeat house and party classics to keep you dancing until 1am. Free entry. Expect spooky shots and delicious cocktails. 

The Park Crescent 31st Oct – Pre-trick or treating event with crafts to decorate your own trick or treating basket. (Proper Halloween vibes ) 1st Nov- adult Halloween party from 8pm. (DJ – fancy dress  comp – special cocktails and shots – drink deals all night. Free shots for everyone in fancy dress)
