International Women’s Day Brighton 2026 Celebration at The Grand Hotel

Get ready to be inspired and empowered as we chat to the incredible Elif Köse, who is on a mission to unleash the true power of women.

You’re hosting a very special International Women’s Day event in Brighton, what can people expect? The event is taking place at the Grand Brighton Hotel on March 8 and runs from 10.30am to 4.30pm, with doors opening at 10am. Although, I’ll be honest, most women are having such a good time they usually stay until after 5pm. It’s a full-day celebration of women and humanity, honouring women who have contributed in so many ways, often without recognition.

That sounds amazing. What will actually be happening throughout the day? From the moment guests arrive, the atmosphere is joyful and uplifting. There will be live singers, dance performances, keynote speakers and, most importantly, incredible women to connect with. It’s networking, but in a much softer, more welcoming way. No aggressive pitching or business cards being shoved around, it’s more of a sisterhood, a supportive circle.

Will you be speaking on the day as well? Yes, I’ll be opening the event with my keynote and welcoming everyone. We’ll also have talks focused on confidence, leadership and identity. There are wealth management experts, body language specialists and women sharing lived experience and knowledge, all designed to help women feel confident in every area of their lives.

This isn’t your first event, is it? Not at all, this is actually my 11th event overall and our third at The Grand. Each year it grows bigger and more powerful. What makes it different is the energy: there’s no hierarchy, no talking over each other. It’s about compassion, connection and love, because the only thing that truly stops hate is love.

How much does it cost to attend? Tickets are £89 and include lunch, Prosecco, tea, coffee and cakes. It’s incredible value for a day that so many women describe as genuinely life-changing.

What kind of feedback do you hear from attendees? The feedback that makes me proudest is from women who come alone. Many say they didn’t know anyone, took a chance and left with friendships that last for years. It’s glamorous, pink, glittery and fabulous, but above all it’s safe, inclusive and welcoming. You never need to come with someone and you’ll leave knowing you belong. To book visit:
