January and the artists who will shape my year – Liberty Music PR
January has been a gentle landing back into real life. It is also the moment in the year when I feel most excited about what is ahead for us at Liberty Music PR. Our ‘ones to watch’ for 2026 are a brilliant mix of voices and sounds, and each of them brings something that makes you stop and pay attention.
Outpost Drive
Outpost Drive, our Brighton-based boy–girl country duo, are the kind of act you hear once and immediately know they are going somewhere. Their harmonies, their storytelling, their onstage chemistry, everything feels so natural and full of heart. Brighton loves an act that bends genres and they do exactly that.
Yard, the Irish electro guitar band, bring a gritty atmospheric energy that feels made for late-night gigs in tucked away venues. They are loud, they are layered, they are hypnotic and they have that special quality that makes you want to tell people you discovered them first.
Jess Ball
Jess Ball, our Australian indie-pop gem, creates songs that are bright, melodic and impossible not to love. Her voice and writing have that warm sun-soaked feeling that makes you want to play her tracks on repeat while pretending it is summer in Brighton even while January rain is attacking you sideways.
Lydia La Bard, also known as Lydia Buckley, is a British singer-songwriter and vocal coach with a completely unique creative world. She became known for her Disney Princesses But They’re Villains series online, but it is her beautiful folk-pop sound and her storytelling voice that truly sets her apart.
Clarity
Clarity, our LA-based newcomer, writes with an honesty that hits you right in the chest. Her lyrics are open, bold and vulnerable, layered over clean addictive beats. She is one of those artists you hear once and instantly know she is going to have a big year.
