On The Beach

26 Jun, 2023

Words by Samantha Harman

On The Beach Festival is set to take place later this month, and promises to be an unforgettable event for music lovers and festivalgoers alike. The 2023 festival will occur across two weekends; commencing Friday 21 July – Sunday 23 July, and continuing Friday 28 July – Sunday 30 July. DJ Eric Prydz headlines on day three  and is known globally for his incredible live performances. With a career spanning over two decades, Prydz has released a string of hit tracks, including ‘Genetrate,’ ‘Pjanoo,’ and ‘Liberate,’ becoming one of the most sought-after DJs in the world. The festival will be held on Brighton Beach and will feature a stellar line-up of artists, including, on day one, Chase and Status, day two finds the legendary Carl Cox gracing the decks, then on day four it’s Above and Beyond and closing the festival, no doubt with a bang, on day six Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.

On Saturday 29 July the rock duo Royal Blood, who were formed in Worthing, West Sussex in 2011 are back to play on home soil as part of a hefty world tour. The line-up consists of Mike Kerr (vocals, bass) and Ben Thatcher (drums) who originally met as teenagers. They were signed by Warner Chappell Music in 2013. Their new album ‘Back To The Water Below’ is out on 8th September so maybe a track or two will find their way into the Brighton set.

The festival will also feature a diverse line-up of supporting artists, including Annie Mac, Adam Beyer, Hybrid Minds, who will all deliver high-energy performances that are sure to keep the crowd moving throughout the day and into the night.

Once the day festival finishes at 10.30pm, Concorde 2 will play host to a number of after parties, starting at 11pm where festival goers can expect to carry on the party until the early hours of the morning.

Food and drink options will also be plentiful, with a range of catering trucks serving up everything from burgers and fries to vegan options and fresh seafood. Drinking water bottles can also be refilled for free. There will also be a variety of bars and cocktail stands dotted around the festival site, ensuring partygoers are never far from a refreshing drink.

On the Beach Festival promises to be a fantastic day out for music lovers and festivalgoers, with a sensational line-up of world-class artists and a range of exciting activities to enjoy. It will be a plethora of indulgence on all levels so you will have an unforgettable day out; this festival is not to be missed. For remaining tickets:
