One Garden Brighton: June Events

30 May, 2025

Summer brings a new rhythm to One Garden Brighton. Longer days mean more time to explore and the One Garden calendar is filled with events to suit every kind of curiosity – whether that’s learning a new skill, exploring seasonal plants or simply enjoying the feel of the sun on your shoulders.

Willow Weaving Basket Workshop, 1 June; Biodynamic Gardening, 8 June: Green-fingered and craft enthusiasts will love these workshops.

For the little ones: Head to Story Moves, ‘Buds’ Playgroup or Tango Tots, or pick up a free Nature Explorer book to guide their summer adventures outdoors.

Sustainability Festival, 14 June: Bringing together community projects, inspiring talks, short films and creative activities, all with a focus on living well and more sustainably. It’s a great reason to spend the day in the garden, surrounded by ideas, people and plants.

Tree Festival, 14 & 21 June: With free Guided Tree Tours. These gentle walks reveal the hidden stories behind some of our most-loved trees, with insight from the team that cares for them. It’s a lovely way to slow down and take a closer look.

Father’s Day, 15 June: Father’s Day falls on Sunday 15 June, so why not take a walk through the garden, explore our Plant Market, or pick up a bottle or two of local beer
or wine from One Market – ideal for a relaxed evening at home.

Foodie moments to come: While food pop-ups aren’t scheduled every weekend, they’re set to return to One Kitchen at intervals throughout the summer. Keep an eye out for new foodie favourites popping up as the season unfolds. And our Supper Club is back. The first event takes place on 8 August, with tickets available online soon. You can register your interest now to be the first to know when they’re released.

Plant Market in full colour: Right now, our Plant Market is bursting with seasonal colour. Grown mostly in house by our gardeners and volunteers, there’s a wide mix to explore, including spring bulbs, summer flowers, hanging baskets and house plants. You’ll also find friendly advice and plenty of inspiration.
