R-Bar Marks 20 Fabulous Years with £2 Drinks All Weekend

Brighton’s iconic seafront LGBTQ+ venue, R-Bar, is thrilled to announce its 20th Birthday Celebration, taking place from 20th–22nd June 2025.

For two decades, R-Bar has proudly served as a safe and vibrant space for the queer community and its allies. To mark this milestone, the venue is rolling out its biggest ever drinks offer: 20 best-selling drinks for just £2 each throughout the weekend. The offer will include favorite beer, wine, spirits and shots.

R-Bar’s Birthday Entertainment will include;

Friday 20th June – Kick off the weekend with Noughties Cabaret hosted by Ophelia Payne from 7.30pm

Saturday 21st – Get transported back to 2005! From 9pm, DJs will be playing hits from the years R-Bar first opened

Sunday 22nd – R-Bar birthday present giveaway. Throughout the day, customers will have the chance to spin the prize wheel to win a birthday freebie with every round purchased

George Mills, General Manager: “‘Myself and the whole team are delighted to be recognising 20 years of R-Bar. We are already well-known for our daily happy hour offer, but this birthday deal is even better. The £2 price beats most of the offers we were running when the venue opened in 2005!”

“R-Bar is open from 3pm until late, every day and remains free entry throughout the weekend. With our range of both alcohol and alcohol-free options, there really is something for everyone”
