Sunshine, Socialising & Strength

29 Jun, 2025

Brighton & Hove has always been a hub for incredible events, from challenge-based activities to music-driven festivals. The city’s vibrant atmosphere offers the perfect setting to embrace the sunshine and connect with others. After all, enjoying time in the sun with good friends is one of the best ways to improve mental health and overall wellbeing.

At Coached, we understand the importance of balance and encourage our members to enjoy life outside the gym, knowing it plays a huge role in their overall health. We’ve seen first-hand how socialising can have a positive impact on morale. By mixing healthy gym sessions with community events, we’ve noticed a significant improvement in the relationships between our members. Whether our men-only events focused on high-performance fatherhood, the Woman’s Circle for our female members, or our Coached socials that bring everyone together, we believe in creating a space where people can bond, relax and feel supported. These events are designed to be a fun and healthy way to unwind, enjoy some food and share good times with others.

When it comes to festivals, moderation is key. While getting swept up in the excitement is easy, staying mindful of your hydration and energy levels is essential. Hydrate well before indulging in alcohol, and switch between electrolytes and alcoholic drinks to keep your body balanced as the sun beats down. This way, you can enjoy all the fun without compromising your health.

At Coached, we’ve seen that the combination of fitness and social connection can lead to lasting improvements in both physical and mental health. Socialising with others in a relaxed environment enhances your overall experience and helps build strong, supportive relationships within the community. So, whether you’re training hard in the gym or out enjoying a festival with friends, remember that balance is key to living your best, healthiest life.
