Hunglish. Hunglish Zero Waste Shopping believes that zero-waste shopping is the way forward. They want to make it as affordable and convenient as possible. The business in 2021 with one goal in mind: providing an enjoyable & eco-friendly shopping experience in Brighton. Their expertise and dedication have enabled them to become masters of the craft. They provide veggie/vegan food and other lovely products that don’t harm our beautiful planet. 

Brighton Gin. Brighton Gin uses only sustainable glass from a UK glass recycling plant, every piece of cardboard is also reused as inserts for gin cases and packing. Fairly traded and locally sourced, high-grade ingredients are used including organic wheat spirit for the base of the gin and the drink is also certified vegan by the vegan society.

Brighton & Hove Wood Recycling Project. Founded in 1998, Brighton & Hove Wood Recycling Project was the first of its kind in the country, dedicated to recycling waste timber – seeing it for what it really is: not something to discard but a precious resource. Leading the way as a pinnacle of the local circular economy, we are now a charity and our aims are: protecting the environment by conserving resources, educating and promoting behavioural change, changing lives, relieving unemployment and social exclusion.
