Review: The Brighton Imposters Dinner Experience

6 Nov, 2025

A Traitors-inspired immersive Christmas party with fine dining, laughter, and festive intrigue.

If, like me, you’re utterly obsessed with The Traitors, then this immersive Christmas party experience might just be your dream festive night out. Whether you’re planning an office do or a get-together with friends, this brilliantly executed event combines murder mystery mayhem, delicious dining, and plenty of laughs.

Hosted at the Brighton Pavilion Gatehouse, just a short stroll from the station and town centre, it’s a setting that immediately feels right: grand yet intimate, with space to mingle over a welcome glass of prosecco (instant win) before the game begins. The Gatehouse is one of Adventure Connections’ large-group properties, and they’ve nailed the atmosphere. Think flickering lights, cloaks for photo ops, and a hint of intrigue in the air.

Once everyone’s seated around a long banqueting table, the host explains the rules. Scrolls are handed out, secret roles assigned and suddenly you’re deep in the world of deception and deduction. The Traitors (or rather, “imposters”) begin their scheming while the Faithful try to work out who’s playing dirty. It’s part theatre, part dinner party, and entirely addictive.

Speaking of dinner, the food by Dine Indulge is far above standard party fare. My garlic mushroom starter in pepper and paprika cream sauce was so good I almost licked the plate, while the roasted chicken main was tender and full of flavour. Dessert was a nostalgic triumph: treacle tart with clotted cream, the sort that transports you straight to primary school. Vegetarian options are equally considered, and dietary requests are happily accommodated.

The pacing is spot on, each course punctuated by game rounds that keep the tension (and laughter) building. By 10pm, after several glasses of wine and more than a few accusations, our group left buzzing, onto the next pub to debrief.

This Traitors experience by West End Events hits the perfect festive note: interactive, indulgent, and irresistibly fun. Just be warned, trust no one, not even the person pouring your prosecco, or like me, the secret CEO of the company who “murders” you in the first round, bad form old man…

Rating: ★★★★★ – A killer Christmas party idea that’s both clever and delicious

The Imposters Christmas party is taking place at the Leonardo Royal Hotel in London on the 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th December. Tickets are from £125+VAT per person.
