Albums, compilations, reissues, books, events, gigs – everything that has shaped their year, distilled down into an informative A5 ‘best of’ guide known as ‘The Resident Annual’. It’s a useful reminder of the things that you maybe meant to check out, your own favourites of the year and those that you need to go back to again. But the publication is an especially good resource as a gift guide that will help you come up with excellent ideas for your friends and family (or to use yourself as a way of hinting to your loved ones what they should get for you by casually leaving your well-thumbed copy around with your most-wanted items clearly circled!). The Resident Annual provides short write-ups of the shop’s bestsellers and top picks across a wide variety of genres.
