Boundless and National Art Pass

Save on Sussex cultural visits with Boundless and National Art Pass

Sussex’s public servants can now enjoy free and half-price entry to galleries, museums and historic houses in the area and across the UK with Boundless membership club, which has added Art Fund’s National Art Pass to its range of benefits.

Boundless Plus members (£68 a year) will be able to access more than 1,000 cultural spaces nationwide with National Art Pass, which can include one additional adult and any children in the household. Hundreds of discounts are available at museums and galleries up and down the country, from savings on entry and exhibitions at selected sites to discounts in gift shops and cafés.

In Sussex, this includes free entry to iconic landmarks including the Royal Pavillion in Brighton and Lewes Castle and Barbican House Museum in Lewes, as well as free entry and exhibitions at Brighton Museum and Art Gallery, 50 per cent off entry to Charleston in Firle, and much more.

There are plenty of exhibitions to explore across Sussex this winter, including The In Crowd: Mod Fashion and Style 1958-1966 at Brighton Museum & Art Gallery until 4 January, and Michael Landy: LOOK at Hastings Contemporary, which visitors can catch until 15 March.

Darren Milton at Boundless said: “We’re always looking for ways to help our members make the most of their free time. This new partnership with Art Fund is an exciting addition for Boundless Plus members who are interested in culture, history and new experiences.

“The National Art Pass gives our members the chance to explore an incredible range of the UK’s museums, galleries, historic houses and gardens, including major attractions and hidden gems – offering even more opportunities to enjoy memorable days out with family and friends.”

Boundless Plus members will also receive an annual Art Map guidebook with details on all the cultural spaces and discounts within the Art Fund network, as well as Art Quarterly magazine and the Art in Your Inbox newsletter, to stay up to date on the latest news and exhibitions.

The new benefit, worth up to £145, builds on the range of perks already available with Boundless Plus membership, which includes unlimited entry to sites cared for by Historic Royal Palaces. These are the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle and Gardens near Belfast, with admission for one additional adult and up to two children per visit included.

Boundless Plus members also get access to more than 100 National Trust for Scotland locations, with complimentary entry for up to two adults and up to six children at museums, gardens, historic houses and more. Access to the Ramblers community is included too, with more than 50,000 guided group walks on offer and a wealth of walking routes available.

Jenny Waldman, director of Art Fund, said: “The National Art Pass opens up a world of art and inspiration, with free or discounted access to more than 1,000 museums and galleries across the UK.

“Membership also supports Art Fund’s charitable work, helping museums and galleries to serve their communities.

“We’re delighted to partner with Boundless to offer this opportunity to those working across our vital public services – we encourage their members to sign up for a National Art Pass and experience the joy that visiting museums and galleries can bring.”

All Boundless Plus benefits are in addition to the deals available through the club’s £40 membership, which offers unlimited complimentary access to Kew Gardens in London, Wakehurst in West Sussex and all nine Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) centres across the UK. Members also enjoy discounts on days out through Kids Pass, featuring kids-go-free deals and savings at nationwide attractions, such as Edinburgh Zoo and Go Ape forest adventure park.

Members get free access to tastecard including Coffee Club – the UK’s biggest dining club, which provides discounts every day of the week at thousands of restaurants nationwide. Boundless members also save up to 37 per cent on cinema tickets through the Cinema Society, including at Vue, Odeon, Cineworld and Showcase cinemas across the UK.

In addition, the Boundless community can enjoy a range of exclusive events throughout the year – from discounted member days out at some of the UK’s top attractions to online talks and masterclasses, plus a variety of local events organised by Boundless members, including lunches, quizzes, museum visits and more.

Boundless membership is available to all civil service and public sector workers, working or retired. This includes teachers, civil servants, local-government workers and members of the armed forces, fire service, NHS, police and many more.
