One Garden Brighton Feb 2026

As winter softens and the spring starts to show a bit of ankle, One Garden Brighton comes alive with a thoughtfully curated programme of workshops, walks and wellbeing experiences running throughout February and into early March 2026. Set within the walled garden at Stanmer Park and free to enter daily, it’s a place to slow down, get creative and reconnect with the seasons.

February brings a strong focus on creativity and mindful making. The Paper Peony Workshop offers a gentle, hands-on introduction to crafting beautiful crepe-paper blooms, a perfect antidote to grey days and a lovely way to create something lasting. Art lovers can also take inspiration from the changing garden with Watercolour and Mixed Media Workshops, welcoming all abilities to explore colour, form and seasonal light in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Families are well catered for too, with Imagination Walks inviting young explorers to discover stories woven through the garden paths, plants and hidden corners. These playful, nature-led sessions encourage curiosity and creativity while making the most of fresh air and open space.

As the calendar turns to March, One Garden’s programme deepens into reflection and renewal. The Herbal Medicine Journey, beginning in early March, is a year-long immersive course exploring medicinal plants, seasonal wellbeing and hands-on remedy-making, ideal for anyone interested in natural health and learning directly from the land. Running monthly, it offers a rare chance to build knowledge gradually as the garden itself evolves.

Marking International Women’s Day on 8 March, Menopausal Matters creates a welcoming space for conversation, learning and empowerment. Led by an experienced herbalist, the session explores natural approaches to perimenopause and menopause, combining practical guidance with community connection in a calm, nurturing setting.

Alongside events, visitors can refuel at One Kitchen with seasonal food and coffee, or browse local makers at One Market, turning every visit into a full sensory experience. Whether you’re crafting, learning, wandering or simply pausing among early spring growth, One Garden Brighton offers a restorative escape that feels perfectly in tune with the season.
