Celebrating 50 editions of Discover

Reaching the 50th print edition of Discover Brighton feels like a moment to pause and say a heartfelt thank you to the city that made it all possible.

When we first launched Discover Brighton, our vision was simple. We wanted to create a community magazine that celebrated everything that makes our city special. We believed there was an appetite for a publication that shone a light on the people and places that make Brighton and Hove thrive. Fifty editions later, that belief has only grown stronger.

Discover Brighton has always been about more than listings or recommendations. It’s about storytelling. Every issue is an opportunity to showcase the talent, resilience and innovation that exists right here on our doorstep.

Over the past 50 editions, Discover Brighton has grown alongside the city itself. We’ve had the privilege of witnessing new businesses open their doors, creatives find their audiences, and community initiatives flourish. In many ways, the magazine has become a small but meaningful thread in the fabric of Brighton and Hove – connecting people, celebrating local success stories and supporting the independent businesses that make our city so special.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the incredible team behind the magazine. I feel enormously proud to work alongside such a passionate, creative and hard-working group of people. Their dedication, ideas and commitment to celebrating Brighton make Discover Brighton what it is today.

Here’s to the next 50 editions and to continuing to celebrate the incredible community we’re lucky enough to call home.

To celebrate we are offering £50 off campaigns booked in April – get in touch, quote DISCOVER50 and discover the power of local promotion.
