Liberty Music PR ones to watch: Kripa and Clarity
At Discover Brighton, we’re lucky to work with some brilliant creative partners across the city – and Liberty PR is no exception. Known for championing emerging talent, the agency has an eye for artists who are doing something a little different. Two names currently on their radar are Kripa and Clarity Liao – musicians bringing powerful stories and distinctive sounds to the forefront.
Kripa’s journey into music is anything but conventional. A board-certified neurologist-turned-recording-artist, she creates songs that beautifully bridge science, soul and sound. Her music blends shimmering pop production with gospel-inspired crescendos and cinematic arrangements, creating tracks that feel both deeply personal and widely relatable. There’s a powerful sense of honesty running through her songwriting, with lyrics that speak to moments of doubt, rediscovery and transformation. Kripa’s mission is simple but resonant: to inspire people who feel out of alignment in their lives to trust themselves and follow their truth. Rooted in empathy, connection and hope, her music carries a clear message, that it’s never too late to change direction, and that joy and healing are always within reach.

Also generating excitement is singer-songwriter Clarity Liao, a prolific writer who has been crafting songs since the age of seven. Most recently, she served as the principal songwriter for the band Navillera, who released seven singles, including their debut track ‘Too Young’. The song went on to win the 2024 Yamaha National Best Popular Music Award, marking an impressive milestone early in her career. Another composition by Clarity, ‘I Need You’, also achieved national recognition, winning first place in the 2025 YMS National Composers competition.
Now Clarity is stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist, working towards completing her debut EP. Many of the songs are written as love letters, emotional messages expressing the words she always wanted to say but never quite found the courage to voice. Her influences range from contemporary pop icons like Bruno Mars and Adele to rising stars such as Olivia Rodrigo, whose confessional songwriting echoes through Clarity’s newest material.
With distinctive voices, compelling stories and a clear creative vision, both artists are ones to watch and Liberty PR may well have spotted the next big breakthroughs.
