MCM Comic Con London

MCM Comic Con London

Comic Con is where superfans bring their favourite comic book heroes and screen icons vividly to life, a cosplay celebration like no other. Here, Spider-Man mingles with Gandalf, while Wonder Woman strikes up a conversation with Pennywise. Step into a world where imagination reigns and reality takes a back seat, and prepare to be fully immersed in a weekend of pure joy, creativity and escapism.

If there’s one weekend where London fully lets its imagination run wild, it’s when MCM London Comic Con comes to town. Returning to ExCeL London from 22–24 May, this three-day pop culture takeover is the capital’s most electric celebration of fandom. Part convention, part spectacle, MCM is where film, TV, gaming, anime and comics collide under one vast roof. Expect headline guests from across the entertainment world, with opportunities for panels, photo ops and signings, alongside a packed schedule of talks and live sessions across multiple stages.

But the real magic happens beyond the big names. Wander the show floor and you’ll find independent artists, writers and creators showcasing original work, from graphic novels to handmade prints. It’s a space where emerging talent sits comfortably alongside global franchises and where you’re just as likely to discover your next favourite illustrator as you are to spot a TV star.

Cosplay is at the heart of the experience. Expect everything from low-key nods to full-scale, meticulously crafted costumes, with fans fully embracing the chance to step into  another identity for the weekend. It’s immersive and joyful whether you dress up or not, the energy is infectious.

There’s also a strong community feel running through it all. Gaming zones, anime screenings and open panels create space to connect, while the sheer scale of the event means there’s always something happening, somewhere.

Running across Friday to Sunday, with extended hours and priority entry options, MCM is designed to be dipped into or fully committed to. MCM London Comic Con isn’t just an event, it’s a full-blown escape into another magical world, right in the heart of the city.
