Halloween 2023

Spooky season is almost upon us and Discover has found some of the best Halloween events so that you can celebrate goth Christmas to the max.

First up is Glamorous Brighton who are hosting a Halloween event to remember. On the 28th of October, from 8pm DJ Xarnder who has graced the decks in Ibiza and is a regular at i360 events, will be playing disco house and Halloween bangers from 8pm – midnight. The venue stays open until 1am so you don’t have to leave in a hurry. Expect the spookiest of decor, drinks specials and prizes for best dressed. It’s also free entry. The venue is LGBTQ+ inclusive. One Garden Brighton. Visit Brighton’s walled garden for a spooky children’s trail, drop-in children’s crafts and floral pumpkin workshops. Calling all young witches, werewolves, ghosts and vampires. Come dressed up to explore One Garden Brighton on our highly popular spooktacular Halloween Trail this October half-term. Search the garden for scary scenes and creepy clues and take part in Halloween themed crafts. Our Halloween trail runs from Saturday 21st to Sunday 29th October. Murder on the Dancefloor at Lucky Voice is a Halloween themed Karaoke special and you can visit between Friday 27th and Tuesday 31st October. With specially curated Halloween playlists to sing your heart out to you won’t be disappointed.  If you book via the website you will get a free round of witchy cocktails straight from the bubbling cauldron. Expect scary decor and the bar areas will also be open for drinking and dancing if you don’t feel like singing. Fancy dress is a must. Luckyvoice.com

Shocktober Fest at Tulley’s Farm is possibly one of the scariest Halloween events in the country. From the 30th September to 31st of October you can visit the attraction and be scared out of your wits. With 10 attractions including Electric Circus, Doom Town, The Island, The Village Coven and the Chop Shop, it’s every horror movie you’ve ever seen come to life. Trained actors play the parts of serial killers, clowns and zombies so well you’ll wonder if your fantasy has become a reality. Definitely not for the faint hearted, only the brave dare enter. Ghost Walk of the Lanes will take you and your party on a spooky walk around Brighton’s Lanes. The tour lasts 80 minutes and visits eight haunted locations in the area. There’s no need to book, just assemble outside The Druids Head to be collected by a shadowy figure dressed in funeral director attire, also known as Rob Miles, the actor who plays Silas the Ghostwalker. The tour is also fantastic for historians who are interested in learning more about Brighton’s checkered history of smugglers and pirates. Put the Ghost Walk on your Halloween wishlist, it is simply unmissable. Ghostwalkbrighton.co.uk
