Dreadzone

11/11

One of the best live bands around celebrate their 30th anniversary this year. Formed by ex-Big Audio Dynamite drummer Greg Roberts and former Julian Cope sound engineer Tim Bran in 1993, they signed to Creation Records and released their debut album 360° to critical acclaim the same year. After opening the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury in 1994 they began to bring their fusion of electro, dub and reggae to a wider audience. They scored a Top 20 hit with Little Britain after signing to Virgin Records in 1995 and their last studio album, Dread Times, entered the Top 40 UK Official Album Charts twenty years later. The 2023 line up sees Roberts joined by not only his son on guitar but original bassist Leo Williams and legendary reggae vocalist Earl 16. Their debut album is being re-issued on double heavyweight coloured vinyl in a hand numbered limited edition.
