Aprés Ski By Sea At Shelter Hall

Shelter Hall is the city’s only seafront food hall, boasting seven kitchens serving a variety of delicious food, two bars and various spaces. The mezzanine floor has outdoor balconies that are perfect for taking in a famous Brighton sunset and people watching.

This festive period, alongside their famous food hall seating, Shelter Hall also offers the cosy Skylark bar, sea-view mezzanine tables and their outdoor terrace.  The terrace has been transformed into an alpine themed, aprés ski wonderland with three large party domes that can accommodate 8 – 16 people, along with covered alpine huts for cosy winter huddles.

Each dome is decorated to the nines with heating and speakers provided. The dome reservation period is 2.5 hours, but can be booked for the whole evening for an additional spend and hire fee.  The perfect way to spend a Christmas party with attentive service, flowing drinks and a second to none festive menu featuring authentic aprés-ski food including Baked Camembert, Bratwurst, Schnitzel and Apple Strudel.  Plus don’t miss their new burger brand Rüdi’s Burgers!!

To add to the Christmas wonderland atmosphere, Shelter Hall is hosting a line-up of Christmas events.

On December 4th, 11th and 18th you’ll be able to enjoy the wonderful Uplifted Voices Gospel Choir (X-Factor, BGT) who return for their third year to perform renditions of your favourite festive songs.  Singing against a glitzy Christmas backdrop, their gorgeous voices are the perfect family friendly celebration. There is a free event but tables must be booked, with two performances at 6:30pm and 8:45pm. For an extra £5 you are guaranteed a table close to the stage.

On December 10th and 17th we welcome the Silver Spurs Makers Market bringing together local artisans, makers, performers and businesses to create a truly brilliant community market. Come and buy some last minute Christmas presents with everything from jewellery to small batch soap and original artwork – you’re sure to find something special before staying for drinks and food.

The venue will be open until 6pm on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day – come and blow those cobwebs away with a bracing walk along the beach and then warm up with a hot chocolate and a bacon bap.

On New Year’s Eve come and join the super talented Billie Gold for an unforgettable evening of song and live entertainment.  As the clock strikes down a new decade of music will be introduced each hour, kicking off with a deep dive of 70s disco.  Tickets £25 with a glass of fizz on arrival, doors open at 7.30pm
