Martin Kemp

02/12. If anybody has the credentials to play the most popular hits of the eighties, it’s Martin Kemp. He rose to fame as bass player in the hugely successful band Spandau Ballet alongside his older brother Gary. The band topped the charts all around the world before splitting up in the 1990s. At the same time as pursuing a musical career, the Kemp brothers appeared regularly on stage and screen from a very early age. Their breakthrough roles were as Ronald and Reginald Kray in the critically acclaimed 1990 film The Krays. After moving to LA for a few years and appearing in numerous TV shows Martin returned to the UK in 1995 and landed the role of Steve Owen in Eastenders, which he played for four years. For the last few years he has reinvented himself as a DJ and enjoyed great success with his Back To The 80s nights. concorde2.co.uk
