Frank Skinner

28 Mar, 2024

19/4 @Theatre Royal 7.30pm

This writer, comedian, radio presenter and high profile recovering alcoholic from the Black Country has been on everyone’s radar since co-hosting Fantasy Football League on TV with David Baddiel, which he did for ten years from 1995. His career started in 1987 when he decided to ditch his job as a college lecturer and become a stand up comedian. In 1991 he won the Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Fringe, which really kickstarted his career and he started to become a regular on our screens. He is a big music fan and in 1996 scored a number 1 single with Three Lions, alongside Baddiel and the Lightning Seeds, and again in 1998 with a re-recorded version. Following a sell out run at the Edinburgh Fringe and 7 nights in the West End, Skinner is back in our fair city with a brand new show: 30 Years of Dirt.
