I Could Be Wrong, I Could Be Right

@Theatre Royal 1/5 7.30pm

Outrageous, outspoken, misunderstood and controversial are all words that have been used to describe this legendary icon and revolutionary over the last forty years. Lydon first found notoriety as frontman of one of the most important bands in history, Sex Pistols. From their inception in 1975 to their messy breakup in 1978, the band spearheaded the punk movement and changed the face of music forever. After a trip to Jamaica to recruit reggae musicians for Richard Branson’s Virgin offshoot, Front Line, Lydon returned to London to form Public Image Ltd, a band that continues to this day. He has remained in the public eye ever since through a succession of interesting choices including adverts for butter, a documentary on bugs for the Discovery Channel and participating in I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Tonight he will talk about his career and take questions from members of the audience.
