A winter wonderland right on your doorstep

31 Oct, 2024

The Brighton Lights returns to One Garden this December for what promises to be bigger and brighter than 2023. Tickets cost from just £16 and children under 2 go free!

You and your family can once again step inside a magical world of light and explore the famous trail beyond the walled garden. For the first time ever, you will be able to walk through Stanmer’s orchard and through the beautifully illuminated Palm House and into Stanmer Woods.

Designed with families in mind, the route is pushchair friendly and perfect for little legs, making exploring with young children easy and fun. The route is also wheelchair accessible, ensuring everyone can enjoy the magic. While you soak in the lights, take time to also enjoy the street food from local vendors and enjoy a mug or two of mulled wine, hot chocolate and more from the One Garden bar.

There will also be live performances from talented musicians and The Brighton Lights team will be in character, interacting and taking photos with guests. The Christmas markets will be open giving you the opportunity to pick up unique gifts for family and friends.

Getting there couldn’t be easier as more shuttle buses will be ready to collect guests from the bottom of Stanmer Park. You can also catch the local bus via Falmer railway station. For those driving, extra car parking spaces will be available just outside the park where you can catch the shuttle bus directly to One Garden. You can also walk up the length of the park as there are convenient paths meaning you won’t stray off the beaten track. It is advised you leave dogs at home as the event will be busy and they may get overwhelmed.

Quieter sessions are available for those offering a calmer environment on Thursday 12th and Thursday 17th at 4pm and 4.15pm.

Discover attended last year and we cannot recommend this amazing event enough! Make sure you book those tickets as they sell out fast!

Ticket Information: This year introduces tiered ticket pricing and flexible tickets, allowing visitors to change their tickets up to a week before the show (subject to availability). With last years’ tickets selling out fast, early booking is recommended to secure entry.
