Brighton’s New Festival Of Wellbeing

29 Aug, 2025

Forget the idea that wellness is all green juice, pricey retreats and perfectly lit yoga poses. This October, Brighton will host the very first Brighton Wellness Festival — and it promises something entirely different: a celebration of authentic, community-powered wellbeing.

Running from 1–8 October, the festival will transform the city into a playground for mind, body and spirit.

Across yoga studios, saunas, the beach and beloved movement spaces, you’ll find more than 100 events spanning the soulful to the surprising. From finding your purpose and healing your inner child to massage workshops and cacao sound journeys, the programme is packed with fun, profound and transformative experiences to propel your wellbeing journey.

“Brighton has always been a place for free spirits and fresh ideas — and now it’s becoming a hub for authentic wellbeing. With this festival, we want to celebrate what thrives here and remind people that wellness isn’t a luxury for the few, it’s a right for everyone,” says founder Natasha Jackson.

What makes the festival unique is its roots in the local community. Co-created with practitioners, artists and space-holders across the city, it’s as much about connection as it is about self-care. Alongside traditional practices, the programme also explores the intersections of wellness and collective care — think somatics for social justice in a sauna, open conversations on privilege, free integration circles and fundraising events for vital causes. Wherever you land, you’ll find a warm welcome.

At the heart of the week is the BWF Summit (4 October, Platf9rm) — a one-day deep dive into the big questions of our time. Expect panel talks on collective healing and the future of mental health, alongside hands-on workshops and stalls from local makers. It’s the festival’s beating heart — where ideas, creativity and community collide.

Whether you’re curious or already deeply committed to your wellness journey, the Brighton Wellness Festival invites you to pause, reconnect and reimagine what wellbeing could mean — for yourself and for the world around you.
