Silent Art Auction at SEA LIFE Brighton | Join us on the 22nd of April for our Silent Art Auction at SEA LIFE Brighton, to help us raise some donations for the SEA LIFE Trust! We are delighted to showcase some pieces from artists local to Brighton, and further throughout the country whilst offering some support to our sister charity, the SEA LIFE Trust. Our historic Victorian arcade provides the perfect plaice to take in these beautiful pieces, and it's a fintastic opportunity to take home something truly eelegant. There will also be a bar running for the event to enjoy a glass of prosecco during your visit. Come on down to our Art Auction and enjoy some art with a tide of purpose! Our doors will be opening at 6pm to guests, and we will be closing bidding for the evening at 7:30 pm, with the event itself ending at 8pm. We are still accepting submissions for this event too! A preternaturally gifted vocalist, Brown has released three studio albums - 1000 Years (2017), Darling, It'll Be Alright (2019) and Second Son (2024) - and a number of EPs, which have accumulated a quarter of a billion streams and counting across both Spotify and Apple Music. Many of these songs have been used during dramatic moments of US TV shows such as The Good Doctor, Station 19, Criminal Minds and Suits, lending an emotional gravitas which has come to be associated with Brown's music. Folklore Sessions Presents; Katacombs + Support 22nd April, The Folklore Rooms £15adv | 18+ Katacombs is the name Katerina Kiranos landed on after years of building sculptural furniture of bone and wood. Born in Miami to a Spanish mother and Greek father, she spent the majority of her early life bouncing between multiple cultures and wanting to adapt. The common thread anywhere she landed was her love for music. Piano lessons as a child led to days on end of writing and recording from her makeshift bedroom-studio as a teen, which turned into years of collecting songs- all just to store them away. Though she took a detour career-wise, she continued to play where she could and could never escape the urge to spend every day honing her first true passion. She played keys in a few bands and dabbled in open mics but always ended up feeling best in a dark room, single-handedly curating dramatic and ethereal melodies.
