Taking place across the first four weekends of May (May 2–4, May 9–10, May 16–17 and May 23–25), Brighton Open Houses once again promises a spectacular, citywide celebration of creativity, bringing together artists, makers and visitors with a unique and interactive cultural experience. Led by certified yoga & sound meditation instructor and drag artist Gaylien de Mars, you'll be teleported around the universe, visiting distant planets before returning safely back to Earth. This is an immersive, sensory experience with live music using crystal bowls, koshi chimes, tuning forks, steel drums and ethereal vocals. Explore how vibration is experienced as sound and sensation, helping to relax the nervous system and rest. Explore the deep connection humanity has with the cosmos. This experience is crafted with *accessibility and neurodivergent comfort in mind, and is a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community. No yoga experience needed – just curiosity, and a willingness to float through an otherworldly, soothing adventure. *Please note the venue is accessed via 1 step and is not wheelchair accessible.

The show comes to Brighton Fringe from local drag performer Gaylien de Mars, winner of the Ironclad 2026 New Writing Bursary. Blending introspective storytelling with striking projections throughout, the show creates a sensory-rich, immersive experience. It moves between vulnerability and celebration, inviting audiences to reflect on their own relationship to identity, belonging, and allyship. ‘We all ask ourselves, at some point, who we really are and where we fit.
