OCTOBER UNPACKED: The Taste Trail:  No tricks, just treats this October! As part of October Unpacked 2026, selected restaurants, cafés, pubs and bars across central Brighton will be serving up some special tasters and added value treats throughout the whole month. This could be a small taster portion from their food or drink menu, an October Unpacked 'Special' or maybe buy something and get something extra for free. It's easy; no tickets, wristbands or special codes to show; all payment is made directly to the venue. Kindling Midweek Meat Feast for 2: For October Unpacked, try our Chef's Meat Platter for two: fillet steak, ribeye and lamb chops over natural charcoal, with tenderstem broccoli, mac & cheese, skinny fries and 3 sauces. £82. Mon–Thu in October.  

Le Petit Chef: Le Petit Chef & The Magical Cooking Book returns to DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole this October. Step into a world of magic, gastronomy and innovation with this immersive 3D dining experience.

Return of the Roast: Our Sunday legendary roasts are returning - look out for delicious slow-cooked lamb, tender roast chicken, pork with crispy crackling and vegan options with a range of beers, wine and alcohol-free options. Note: Sundays only (4th/11th/18th/25th October) 

Pie Wednesdays at The North Star: Pie Wednesdays bring a cosy autumn glow to The North Star with hearty handmade pies including Beef in Guinness and Gardener’s vegan pie by award-winning piemaker Al Studd with warming sides and a drink. Note: Wednesdays only (7th/14th/21st/28th October)

Vinegars: Learn to make vinegar from scratch with Bear in this hands-on workshop. Explore fruit-scrap vinegars, mother cultures, infused flavours and pickling, and take home your own starter vinegar to continue fermenting.

Brighton's Oktoberfest Brighton’s biggest Bavarian celebration is back for 2026 and tickets are officially on sale. Returning to Shelter Hall on Brighton seafront for one weekend only, with live oompah band, food specials and games!
