Congregational Written by Fatt Butcher The nightclubs are closing and the village is dying, but the beat of the dance floor's heart keeps on pumping. Artist and vocalist Fatt Butcher presents a newly composed choral service for the nightclub that's part-concert, part-communion, part-resurrection. Featuring a live choir of professional queer vocalists complete with superstar DJ and virtuosic piano accompaniment, the show is a ceremony for the dancefloor and a service for dying nightlife that reminds use to keep on living. They're now 40ish, at least one of them is in the grips of a mid-life crisis and they're haunted by the pressures of being the poster couple for romantic love. From Lost Dog Dance and award-winning director/choreographer Ben Duke comes a humorous and heartfelt duet about love, loss and longevity, as Juliet & Romeo confronts our cultural obsession with youth and provides a relevant take on modern relationships.
