This mischievous musical based on Roald Dahl’s snappy book has toe-tapping tunes by Ahmed Abdullahi Gallab, a rib-tickling book and lyrics by Suhayla El-Bushra, and additional music and lyrics by Tom Brady. Developed and directed by Emily Lim, it features a menagerie of puppets by co-director and puppetry designer Toby Olié, with set and costume design by Fly Davis and puppetry co-designed and supervised by Daisy Beattie. Joe Thomas 'Talking The Inbetweeners'. We’re talking The Inbetweeners and more at this very special evening with actor/comedian Joe Thomas! It wasn’t long after audiences were first introduced to hapless sixth-formers Will McKenzie, Neil Sutherland, Jay Cartright and Simon Cooper that The Inbetweeners became one of the nation’s best loved shows. With its endlessly quotable lines and outrageous laugh-per-second banter, the sitcom attracted record-breaking viewing figures and inspired two incredibly successful feature films.Celebrating eighteen years since the show’s debut, Joe Thomas (aka Simon Cooper) is here in-conversation all about the series and taking questions from the audience! Hearing all about Joe’s favourite Inbetweeners moments and behind the scenes misadventures, as well as its impact on his own life as an actor/comedian, this promises to be an exciting evening of humour and insight from one of the nation’s best loved young sitcom stars. We’ll also, of course, be touching on Joe’s other work, including Fresh Meat, White Gold and Taskmaster! Caitlin O'Ryan: At What Point Tour. The first ever headliner of our Poetry Box series, Caitlin O’Ryan makes a hugely welcome return to TOM as part of her At What Point tour, celebrating the release of her debut poetry collection (along with some special guests TBA). Caitlin O’Ryan is an actor and poet from Greater Manchester and now based in London. She has headlined several of London’s leading spoken word nights including spitnights, Groove Verse, Poet’s Palace, VERSES x Roundhouse and the international franchise Voices in Power. She also performs as part of Sofar Sounds and has been commissioned by the likes of the British Heart Foundation, Refuge and Amnesty International - performing on the latter’s behalf at Glastonbury Festival 2025. Best known for her recurring role as Lizzie Wemyss in the hit TV show Outlander, her poem At What Point about the cost of being a woman in today’s society, has amassed over 18 million views online, and led to an appearance on BBC Woman’s Hour. Several of her poems have gone viral, and her work has been shared by the likes of Jameela Jamil, Natasha Bedingfield, Deborah Frances-White (The Guilty Feminist), and Sara Cox. Hayao Miyazaki's Dreams by Mystery Ensemble. The Miyazaki Dreams concert is an immersion in the fabulous atmosphere of the films of the world-famous Japanese director and Oscar winner Hayao Miyazaki. Mystery Ensemble has collected magical music from his anime and compositions inspired by his creations. The evening programme includes renowned works composed by ingenious Joe Hisaishi, including My Neighbour Totoro, the legendary movie Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, Laputa: Castle in the Sky and others. The programme also includes works by other composers inspired by Miyazaki’s artworks.

An Evening with Kae Tempest. Kae Tempest is widely regarded as one of Britain’s greatest wordsmiths. In a career of ferocious creativity, he has received multiple prizes and critical recognition across the many forms he works in. Beginning as a lyricist and songwriter in his teens, Tempest threw himself fully into whichever discipline he could find work in; gigging as a poet, writing for the theatre or busking with his band. A decade later, this obsessive compulsion to push his writing as far and as hard as he could, secured him a record deal with UK independent label Big Dada and a poetry publishing contract with Picador.
