Fringe Festival Highlights

26 Apr, 2024

It’s May and that means only one thing, the return of The Fringe Festival and we at Discover towers are beyond excited! With so much to choose from we have scoured the listings and come up with a few favourites to inspire you to go and see a show.

Dive into The Flying Bubble Show, where dreams and reality blur in a breathtaking fusion of bubble magic and aerial flying. Watch in wonder as Maxwell the Bubbleologist takes to the sky, performing astonishing feats whilst making millions of shimmering bubbles. This is aerial bubble ballet at its most magical, bubbles spiraling in double helix formations and Maxwell defying gravity with every leap and twirl. The Flying Bubble Show at the Brighton Fringe is your ticket to a world where bubbles and people float, dance, and defy expectations. It’s an unforgettable adventure into a realm where fantasy and reality dance in perfect harmony. Prepare for a show that will captivate, amaze, and leave you in awe. This isn’t just a performance; it’s a journey into the heart of wonder. May 4th, The Vault at Fool’s Paradise

The Cost of Living Circus offers free fun as a token of kindness during the cost of living crisis. All artists involved offer phenomenal insights through their exceptional art work. Imagine escaping from it all over long, sunny afternoons in the heart of the city. Enjoying breath-taking circus acts. Viewing exceptional art exhibitions. Learning tricks and skills from the finest in creative, home-grown. D.I.Y. All events are free, fully inclusive, and safe. May 25th and June 1st.

London’s number one attraction The Butterfly Trail is coming to the Spiegeltent with multiple showings starting on May 4th until June 2nd. Designed by Pixel Artworks, the experience is the world’s first mixed reality show. The Butterfly Trail guides guests through intrepid explorer Peter Pelgrin’s Botanical Workshop into his Glasshouse. Using your phone you will be able to release magical AR butterflies and trigger real-time animations

Show Me How You Burlesque! is the perfect way to let your hair down and bop to the iconic tunes of the hot hit movie musical. Get glittered up at the glitter station, learn a super-fun all-levels dance routine to one of your favourite Burlesque tunes and meet and boogie with like-minded humans, finishing the event with a glass of bubbles (or soft drink) included in the price. The event will be hosted on Monday 27th at Brighton Spiegeltent.
