Kiiōtō

29 Aug, 2024

Tues 10th Sept 19:30 @The Old Market

Two legendary figures from the electronic world team up for a brand new project. Lou Rhodes is the founder member of Mercury Award nominees Lamb. Formed in Manchester, the duo of Rhodes and producer Andy Barlow signed a six album deal with Mercury Records in 1995. After four albums Lamb called a hiatus but reformed in 2009 for some festival dates including Glastonbury and The Big Chill. The other half of Kiiōtō is Rohan Keith, multi-platinum songwriter and founder member of Urban Cookie Collective, who scored a number 2 UK hit with The Key The Secret in 1993. He has also worked with A Guy Called Gerald and Eek-A-Mouse. The pair connected during lockdown and became inseparable friends, starting work on their debut album, As Dust We Rise, an intuitive meld of shared histories and the big themes of life. Do not miss this very special performance.
