Komedia – Ring in 2026

28 Nov, 2025

Four ways to celebrate New Year’s Eve at Komedia

If there’s one place that knows how to throw a party, it’s Komedia. This New Year’s Eve, Brighton’s favourite live entertainment venue is pulling out all the stops with something for every age, mood and musical taste. From  family-friendly fun to late-night dancefloors.

Start the celebrations early with Kidz With Attitude, the hip-hop inspired day-time club for kids and families. Running from 1:30–16:00 on 31 December, this special New Year’s edition promises non-stop tunes, dance-offs, giveaways and games, plus face painting for the little ones and a fully stocked bar for the grown-ups. Expect DJs spinning (non-explicit!) hip-hop, funk and soul classics, and, yes, there’s even a buggy park for tired toddlers.

For the night owls, the Komedia Comedy Club NYE Special offers the perfect excuse to laugh your way into 2026. A stellar line-up featuring Aideen McQueen, Muhsin Yesilada, Dana Alexander and MC Robyn Perkins guarantees big belly laughs, while Komedia’s in-house kitchen serves up delicious bites to fuel you through the countdown, with bubbly on hand, of course.

If dancing is more your thing, head straight to Boogie Wonderland – 70s Disco NYE Party, where the soundtrack is pure gold. Expect all the glitter, groove and good vibes from the Bee Gees to Donna Summer, Fleetwood Mac to Stevie Wonder. Bonus tip: combine your Comedy Club and Boogie Wonderland – 70s Disco NYE Party tickets and save up to £16 for the ultimate laugh-and-dance combo.

Spellbound, The Alternative 80s Night

Prefer your pop with a darker twist? Spellbound, The Alternative 80s Night will see in the new year with a killer mix of goth, post-punk, new wave and synth pop. DJs Simon Price and Jayney BlamBlam will spin everything from The Cure and Depeche Mode to Siouxsie and the Banshees, with smoke machines, projections and even cheap Snakebite & Black for full nostalgic effect. Cheers to 2026!
