Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets

@Brighton Dome 26/6 19:30

Named after the second Pink Floyd album, released in 1968, when Sid Barrett was still a major presence, this supergroup focuses on the early works of the band. Original drummer and Floyd co-founder Nick Mason is the only member of the band to have performed on all of their albums and live shows. He is joined by former Spandau Ballet guitarist Gary Kemp, Guy Pratt, bassist in the later incarnation of Floyd and presently a permanent fixture in David Gilmour’s band, ex Blockhead Lee Harris and composer and producer Dom Beken. They formed in 2017 and have toured extensively throughout the US and Europe including a show in Pompeii – a venue synonymous with Pink Floyd. The last time they played in the UK was two years ago last month, on The Echoes Tour, which makes their latest visit to Brighton on the Set The Controls Tour something worth catching.
