Picnics, palaces and Pride: join us for our dazzling summer events to celebrate Brighton Pride 2025

To celebrate Brighton Pride, Royal Pavilion and Brighton Museum & Art Gallery are offering 2 for 1 admission 1-3 August. Simply show your rainbow on entry to claim the offer.

Brighton & Hove Museums is very proud to present a host of vibrant events celebrating this summer’s Brighton Pride. From joyful picnics to fabulous parties and thought-provoking talks, these events are a bold and inclusive tribute to the LGBTQ+ communities who have long shaped the city’s identity. This year’s Pride programme shines a spotlight on creativity, heritage and community, all set against the historic beauty of the city’s most iconic cultural landmarks, including the Royal Pavilion and Hove Museum. Whether you’re a Brighton resident, a day-tripper or visiting to celebrate Pride, there’s something for all tastes and budgets. Here are some of the exciting events we’re hosting this July:

For those seeking an insight into the deeper roots of Pride, this special talk offers a thoughtful exploration of LGBTQ+ history in the city. Join Lisa Hinkins, University of Brighton PhD researcher and community curator of the Queer the Pier exhibition, as she delves into the cultural and political story of Pride in Brighton & Hove. Lisa’s work bridges the personal and the political, shining a light on lesbian lives and museum representation. Expect an engaging hour of history, identity and shared heritage in the welcoming setting of Hove Museum.

Pride of place
Brighton & Hove Museums continue to champion inclusivity, creativity and the untold stories of our communities. These Pride events reflect a commitment to celebrating LGBTQ+ lives not just during Pride season but year-round through exhibitions, programmes and education.
