Starting her career compiling bilingual and English dictionaries, her boss at Oxford University Press suggested she appear on the Channel 4 show Countdown. After declining at first, she eventually agreed and began her tenure in 1982. In this captivating show you will hear some of the funniest stories from her 25 years on the show as well as her time on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
