The World’s First Completely AI-Written Pantomime

31 Oct, 2025
An hilarious, historic theatre event featuring a star-studded cast of local legends and comedy greats!

This January, we are setting the stage for a professional pantomime unlike any other — the world’s first professional panto written entirely by Artificial Intelligence.
Created in real time by OpenAI’s ChatGPT using audience suggestions, the show will be performed unrehearsed by a cast packed with TV, radio and comedy talent.
This show is fast-paced and filled with pure panto mayhem – all under the curious command of an AI script.

This show is brought to you by LP Creatives who have over fifteen years of experience writing and producing pantomimes and children’s theatre across the UK and international-ly – working with the stars of CBeebies and CBBC for such number one theatre and holiday companies such as Butlins and TUI and many, many more.

LP Creatives invite you and yours along to see what might (or might not!) happen!

How It Works:

The show begins with a live, laugh-filled audience warm-up where suggestions are gath-ered and AI then, during a brief interval, writes the entire full pantomime script using those prompts — spelling mistakes, odd plot twists and all.

No rewrites – the cast must then bring it to life exactly as written!*

*Special protocal measures will be taken when entering the data to ensure that all content will be suitable for a family audience. This includes establishing parameters within the initial Ai request and of course a speed pre-read through (by the Producers) to double check all is well.

A word from the Producers:

“This is the world’s first completely AI generated panto — it might be genius, it might be chaos…it might fall flat on its face, but either way, it’ll be hilarious.

“With the creative industries still grappling with the rise of artificial intelligence, what better — or more brilliantly bonkers — testing ground than the lucid artform that is traditional pantomime?

“This show offers a sharp, silly snapshot from 2026 of AI’s current capabilities, a glimpse into the early sparks of machine-made creativity… and yes, definitely a bit of a laugh too.

“Whilst I fully understand concerns about the content of the show, I can assure everyone that I have never and would never put anything unsuitable in front of a family audience. I have two children under ten and embrace parents concerns and let me assure everyone that there won’t be anything content wise that you wouldn’t see in a standard modern family panto. I know, as I’ve written over 50! We are however doing an adult panto and it’s anything goes there! I just I’m not doing myself out of a job!”
